The two volumes of The Ring-Witches of Nesht tell the tale of Ring-Witches Mayra and Wolfe and the mighty black dragon, Gaulte–from the magical beginnings as they fight to free the enslaved male dragons of Ceshon Aerie, to their battle to find the Aerie’s stolen females and their young. Humans and dragons must learn to trust one another as they seek a common enemy–an evil dragon who has stolen a powerful talisman from the dragons, one that will enable him to control any dragon for his evil purposes–even Mayra’s beloved Gaulte. The talisman is so deeply steeped in dragon magic that even the powerful Ring-Witches may be helpless before it.
